    Systems Engineer (MCSE/VCP/VCAP)

    GLOTECH, Inc. seeks a Systems Engineer (MCSE/VCP/VCAP) to join our current team. This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

     

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    GLOTECH, Inc. provides training and professional development to personnel for the Department of State and the Foreign Service community. This position builds, manages, and maintains classroom environments (hardware, software, and configuration) to specification for successful delivery of curriculum that is taught.

     

    Specifically, the Systems Engineer (MCSE/VCP/VCAP) will perform the following work responsibilities, on a regular basis: 

     

    • Manages classroom workstation images on the Citrix Desktop Provisioning system, to include serving streamed images to students during all SAIT Systems courses, supporting Instructors with issues that arise from the Citrix platform, and troubleshooting issues to find solutions.
    • Provides data collection, analysis, and reporting to management on classroom setups and recurring issues.
    • Assists the government property control officer in the maintenance and administration of tracked inventory.
    • Provides feedback and guidance to management on improvements for processes and programs which may not be optimal, implement approved changes in a systematic and documented method.
    • Coordinates documentation: arrange for new documentation to be created, and maintain existing documentation of processes, systems, and procedures for the office.
    • Adheres to established SAIT policies, processes, and procedures.

    Qualifications

    Qualification Requirements:

     

    • 1 or more years of professional work experience that includes demonstrated project management or inventory control experience
    • Certification and experience using : MCSE Server 2012 or MCSE Server 2016 or MCSE Mobility or MCSE Productivity., VMWare Certified Professional (VCP) or VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP)
    • Candidate will be given 120 days to meet a missing or incomplete certification requirement; a substitution of an equal or superior qualification may also be considered.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret government security clearance.
