IT Product Owner - Enterprise Reporting Platform

GLOTECH, Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Product Owner – Enterprise Reporting Platform to support the corporate office of United Parks & Resorts located in Orlando, FL. This position will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of new technology Business Intelligence and Enterprise Reporting products, ensuring the product meets the needs and preferences of the product’s stakeholders, while being aligned with business and technology leadership strategy. The main duties include determining the overall vision of the product, managing prioritization, and deciding the features that deliver the highest quality and most valuable deliverables to the organization. This requires collaborating with internal end users and their leadership teams to understand and anticipate their needs, translate them into requirements, ensure development delivers quality solutions through a prioritized backlog.

• Strategize with business stakeholders and technology leadership to define the product vision of data product.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology leadership to define the costs and value of the product
• Create and maintain product roadmaps based on the vision, user needs, solution architecture, feasibility, and cost
• Participate in
• Developing and refining high quality backlog work items
• Managing and prioritizing and communicating product status to stakeholders, delivery team members, and leadership.
• Contributes, maintains, and continuously improve the delivery processes
• Participating in meetings with end users, developers, as well as with business and technology leadership

• STRONG leadership and communication skills
• STRONG experience owning, building, and maintaining Google Cloud’s Looker Pro,
• Experience with data management and data engineering including data integration and interoperability best practices
• Experience across complex environments with multiple stakeholders with competing priorities, interests, and demands
• Empathy for end users, team members, and stakeholders
• Experience with on-premises and cloud data environments (including GCP/Big Query and SQL Server) specifically in delivery and value
• Experience and passion for data governance and data quality initiatives.
• Technical data skills with SQL, Python
• Ability and desire to roll up your sleeves and accomplish tactical goals as necessary for your product. This may include data analysis, creating scripts, helping with testing, proof of concept/designing prototypes/mock ups of data visualizations, and creating presentations for your product to gain alignment
